About the Student Debt Project
The Student Debt Project was born two years ago when I graduated from college. It has taken many forms since, but the underlying goal has remained the same: to reveal the human stories that make up the student debt crisis. This website tells a few of those stories. Over the past year, I have met hundreds of people struggling under the weight of their debts. With this website, I have hardly scraped the surface, but it is my small way of doing justice to those who were generous enough to let me into their lives. I hope that this site will continue to grow so that these stories have a space in which to be told.
Thank you for your support.
